Funeral services for Ruth R. Guyer, 85, Maquoketa, were held July 24, 1990 at the United Church of Christ, with burial in the Union cemetery, Maquoketa.

Mrs. Guyer died July 21 at the Jackson County Public hospital following a sudden illness.

She is survived by her husband, Lee Roy; 4 daughters, Beverly Reid, Tipton; Leone Geary, Marion; Lavonne Peters, Andrew and Ellen LaFrentz, Monona; 2 brothers, Alvin Mohr, Monmouth and Howard Mohr, Cedar Rapids; 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
