Memorial services for JoAnn A. Pruess, 42, Maquoketa, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 14, 1990 at the Haylock-O'Hara and Lahey Funeral home in Maquoketa with Rev. Gerald Gjerde of the First Lutheran church, Maquoketa, officiating.

Mrs. Pruess died April 4 at her home after a lengthy illness.

The daughter of Herbert and Helen Rockmiller Schulz, she was born in Clinton county Aug. 2, 1947. She married Roger Pruess May 8, 1987 in Maquoketa. She was a member of the First Lutheran church, Maquoketa.

She is survived by her husband; 2 daughters, Geraldine Schulz and Beth Eye, Maquoketa; 3 sons, Jeff Schultz, Randy Schulz and Steven Eye, all of Maquoketa; a stepdaughter, Misty Pruess; a stepson, Jason Pruess, both of Andrew; her mother; a sister, Mrs. Fritz (Carol) Green, Welton; 4 brothers, Marvin Schulz, Welton; Herbert Schulz, Jr., Maquoketa; Richard Schulz, Delmar and Michael Schultz, Maquoketa.

She was preceded in death by her father and 2 sisters.

A memorial fund has been established.
