Donald J. "Don" Krantz, 72, of Maquoketa, Iowa, died suddenly on October 9, 2005, at Mercy Hospital in Dubuque, Iowa.
A celebration of his life will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 12, 2005, at Carson & Son Funeral and Cremation Services in Maquoketa, Iowa. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. today at Carson & Son Funeral And Cremation Services in Maquoketa. Burial will be in the Sutton Cemetery, rural Maquoketa, Iowa.
Don is survived by his wife, Pat Krantz, of Maquoketa; children, Deb (Mrs. Robert, Jr.) Lane, of Maquoketa, Dianne (Mrs. Kevin) Clark, of Maquoketa, and Vicki Krantz (and fiancé Kevin Shock), of Waterloo, Iowa; six grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; one great-grandson; a brother, Gerald (Bonnie) Krantz, of Bloomington, Wis.; and a sister, Judy (Mrs. Joseph) Ley, of Bagley, Wis.
A Donald J. "Don" Krantz Memorial Fund has been established.
