Mrs Harry Prusia

Mrs. Harry Prusia, 76, longtime resident of the Preston community, died , Monday in her home.

The funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in St. John's Lutheran Church, with the Rev Marvin Beninga officiating. Burial will be in the VanBuren Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m Wednesday in the the Miller Funeral Home.

Angelina "Lena" Ingwersen was born July 5 1895 in Germany to August and Christina Jensen Ingwersen. She married Mr. Prusia ,March 4 , 1925. She was a member of St. John's Church. , the Preston American Legion Auxiliary and The Royal Neighbors of America.
Surviving are her Husband; two sons, Wayne of Bettendorf and Alvin , Preston; a daughter Mrs. Robert (Doris) Roling, Clinton ; a niece whom she reared, Mrs Loraine Smithson, Missouri Valley; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren ; two brothers Ingwer of Miles and Julius, Kenosha , Wisc.; and three sisters Mrs. Julia Yappen and Mrs. Anna Burns, Preston and Mrs Augusta "Gussie" Jess , Sabula. Three brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
