Grandma Penrose Dies.

Grandma Penrose passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Hannah Kelcher Saturday evening aged 85 years, 7 months and 4 days. Her maiden name was Sophia Haynes and she was a native of Pennsylvania. She and her husband moved to Iowa in 1870.

The surviving children are Mrs. Lydia Jenkins, Mrs. David Gish, Mrs. John B. Miller, Henry of this city and Thos. of Colorado. Numerous grandchildren mourn her loss.

The funeral was held at the home of Mrs. Kelschanon, Eliza street at 1 o'clock with interment at Union church cemetery, where her husband's sons, David and Abel and daughter, Mrs. D. R. Reynolds lie.
