J. H. Frerichs of Bellevue died Saturday, March 11, at his home on Third street, after an illness of many months. He suffered a stroke of paralysis Thursday evening, from which he did not rally. John Henry Frerichs was born at St. Donatus, March 2, 1867 and with the exception of a short time in South Dakota he spent most of his life in Jackson county. He had never married and resided with his sister, Miss Ricka Frerichs of Bellevue. He leaves five sisters and two brothers to mourn his passing. Funeral services were held at St. Donatus Lutheran church Tuesday.
