Services for Vera May Siebel, 60, radio dispatcher for the Maquoketa police department since 1948, were held at Maquoketa March 15 with burial in Mount Hope cemetery, Maquoketa. She died at her home in Maquoketa March 13.

The daughter of Frank and Tola Green Howell, she was born in Maquoketa May 30, 1924.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Carole Ann) Sergeant, Hudson; 3 granddaughters; her mother, Tola Howell, Maquoketa; 2 sisters, Mrs. LaVern (Verna) Mohr and Mrs. Keith (Velota) DeMoss, both of Maquoketa and 2 brothers, Verl Howell, Maquoketa and Victor Howell, Bull Shoals, Ark. She was preceded in death by her father, 3 sisters and a niece.
