Bellevue - Death again called on Monday evening at 10 o'clock and took a wife and mother when at that hour the spirit of Mrs. Joseph Hunter returned to the God who gave it. Deceased would have been 65 years old had she lived until the 14th of next July. She came to Jackson county in 1865 and to Bellevue in 1901. She leaves to mourn, her husband and four children, Mrs. J. C. Dennison and Dick Hunter of Bellevue; Mrs. F. M. Littlefield and Frank Hunter of Andrew, also three brothers and one sister. The funeral was held at the home on Thursday afternoon conducted by H. C. Irvin, with interment in the Presbyterian cemetery.
