Mrs. M. Lockwood

Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the late home on N. Olive street for Mrs. Myron Lockwood, who died early Tuesday morning. The Rev. H. H. Dill, pastor of the Methodist church, officiated and burial was made in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Lutie L. Tracy, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Tracy, was born at Iron Hill on July 25, 1889 and died August 1, 1933, at the age of 44 years. She came with her parents to Maquoketa in 1902, where she lived until Nov. 20, 1912, when she was married to Myron F. Lockwood. Mr. and Mrs. Lockwood made their home for a time at Rock Island, Ill., then returning to Maquoketa which has been their home with the exception of two years spent in Minnesota.

Mrs. Lockwood had been in poor health for several weeks, but was not considered seriously ill until ten days before her death. When her condition became critical she was taken to a Davenport hospital, but was returned to her home two days later.

Her father and mother preceded her death in 1926, and one brother died in 1906. Besides her husband, she is survived by her two sisters, Mrs. John Raab and Mrs. Cliff Pierce.
