Noah Goodrich, father-in-law of Guy O. Morse and Lynn Tabuman, passed away very suddenly at his home at Wright's Corners about ten o'clock Saturday night, aged 77 years. Mr. Goodrich's death came as a great shock as he had apparently been in his usual health. He had spent the afternoon at Maquoketa and after returning home became suddenly ill and passed away in just a few minutes. Heart trouble is given as the cause.

Mr. Goodrich was a member of the A. W. Dripps post and had a fine army record. He leaves to mourn his loss a wife and one daughter, Mrs. Lynn Taubman.

The funeral was held this afternoon at 2:30 at the Union church, Rev. Bartholemew officiating with interment at Union cemetery.
