Roy Lee Milczarek, 64, of Maquoketa, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at his home.

At Peace Cremation Services have been provided by Carson Celebration of Life Center in Maquoketa. There will be no public visitation or services held at this time. A a private family celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

Roy Lee Milczarek was born on October 3, 1956 in Maquoketa, Iowa, to Frank and Hilda (Reese) Milczarek. He attended Midland Elementary School and then received his high school education in Terra Haute, Indiana. He had various jobs throughout his life including working for Dale Haley Construction, Terrell Underground Cable in Swisher, Iowa, and working as a farmhand for Darrell Thordsen in Monmouth, Iowa. He enjoyed refinishing antiques.

Those left to honor his memory included a daughter, Sara Good of Maquoketa, IA; a grandchild, Mary Jane Good; and a great-grandchild, Beatrice Good. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters and 2 brothers.
