Jeffrey T. "Jeff" Bollinger, 62, of Maquoketa, Iowa, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 10, 2021, at Unity Point Finley Hospital in Dubuque, Iowa.

Friends and family may gather in remembrance of "Jeff" on Monday, July 19, 2021, from 5 to 7 P.M. in "The Bistro" at Carson Celebration of Life Center in Maquoketa. Cremation rites have been accorded.

Jeffrey Thomas Bollinger was born on June 1, 1959, in Denver, Colorado to Thomas A. and Donna Mae (Robinson) Bollinger. He grew up in Maquoketa and was a 1977 graduate of Maquoketa High School. He then entered the U.S. Air Force, earning an honorable discharge. Upon returning to Iowa Jeff got married and had his oldest son, TJ Bollinger. On June 23, 1990, he married Tammy Hosch in Maquoketa, Iowa. Two children were born to this union, Bruce and Brandi.

Following his military service, "Jeff" worked as a programmer for Carts of Colorado for several years. Upon returning home to Maquoketa, he worked at Clinton Engines for many years, and eventually ran the family campground for years. He then worked traveling all over the united states as a merchandiser and remodeled hotels with his good friend Harley.

"Jeff" was a handyman who liked welding, fixing, and building things. He enjoyed hanging at the family campground, playing horseshoes, as well as working on anything with a motor. Jeff loved to have company over and left his door open to anyone. His loud voice, deep laugh, and signature moustache will be missed so much by so many. Jeff loved when he got to spend time with his grandson Jordan, especially giving him rides on the fourwheeler.

Those left to honor his memory include his children, Brandi Bollinger of Colorado Springs, CO, and T.J. (Natalie) Bollinger of WA; his mother, Donna Bollinger of Maquoketa, IA; 5 grandchildren; and two brothers, Mike (Kim) Bollinger of Denver, CO, and Craig (fiancé Karen) Bollinger of Maquoketa, IA. He was preceded in death by his father, a brother Bruce, a cousin Mark, and a son Bruce on February 21, 2014.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a Jeffrey T. "Jeff" Bollinger memorial fund has been established.
