July 11, 1946 - The Anamosa Journal

MONMOUTH - Mrs. James Kedley, 61, died July 4, at a Dubuque hospital following a lingering illness. She had been at the hospital one week. Her home was three miles south of Monmouth.

Funeral service was conducted Monday at Holy Trinity church, Baldwin, by Rev. James Kurth. Burial was made in the Baldwin cemetery. McNamara Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Surviving are her husband, James; two daughters, Mrs. Lavern Bartels and Miss Mary Loretta Kedley, Monmouth; five sisters, Mrs. Mayme Henneberry, Mrs. Agnes Hood, Mrs. John McLeash, Mrs. Albert Stickley and Mrs. James Houlihan, and one brother, Vincent Henneberry.
