Perry Damon, a farmer living near Green Island, met death in the flames that destroyed the home of Charles Mangles. His charred body was found in the cellar on the springs of his cot which had fallen through the floor.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born Jan. 6, 1873 and died Dec. 20, 1915. He is buried in the Hazen Cemetery.
