Mrs. James Sutton Called
Monday morning the sad new became known through our city that Mrs. James H. Sutton had passed away very suddenly at her home on N. Otto St., at 8 o'clock Sunday evening. Although Mrs. Sutton had been in ill health for some time, the end came as a shock to her family and friends.
Until about 3 years ago Mr. and Mrs. Sutton lived at Fulton and since that time they have made Maquoketa their home.
Deceased was 76 years old, is survived by her husband and daughters, Mrs. Mary Hill of Fargo, N. Dak., Mrs. Sarah Clark of Mason City, Mrs. Henry Wilcox and Mrs. Dave Watters of this vicinity and sons Wiley of Dickens, Nebr., Charley, Hadden and Glen of near Maquoketa.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home, John Heide of Fulton conducting the services.
Interment will take place at Esgate.
