Harold Dean Bonney, 52, born January 7, 1928 to Lester Ray and Lela Rupe Bonney at Ottumwa, passed away May 6 at his home rural Lost Nation.

He married Rosemary Kiesling June 14, 1953. He was a veteran of World War II. He was employed at B. L. Anderson Inc. in Maquoketa.

He was a member of Union Presbyterian Church at Lost Nation.

Services were held Thursday, May 8, at 2 p.m. at Union Presbyterian Church, Lost Nation. Rev. Paul Skelley officiated with burial in Lost Nation Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife Rosemary, a daughter, Vicki Bonney, Baldwin; four sons, Brad of Baldwin, Kenneth, Brian and Brent at home; three grandchildren, Tracy, Dylan and Shannon; two brothers, Willard (Don), Ollis, and Larvel Ray, Maquoketa, and three sisters, Mrs. John (Audrey) Gerdes, and Mrs. Dudley (Jeanne) Tredway both of Onslow, Mrs. Charles (Belle) Hickman, Knoxville.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one son.

Pallbearers were: Bill Dohms, Allan Rowan, Steve Flagel, George Dahms, Lyl Rowan and Mel Thein.
