Mrs. Viola E. Watters

Mrs. Viola E. Watters, 80, Maquoketa, died Friday at Stone Hill Care Center, Dubuque.

A private funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday in carson Fueral Home, Maquoketa, with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

There will be no visitation.

Mrs. Watters was borin Jan. 30, 1899, in Canton Iowa, to Nathan and Annie Frye Potter. She married Carl Mueller. After his death she married Leonard Watters Dec. 6, 1930, in Maquoketa.

Survivors include a daughter, seven sons, several grandchildren and great grandchildren; two sisters Mrs. Edith Schurbon, Maquoketa, and Mrs. Maude Knight, Welton; and four brothers, George Potter, Maquoketa, James Potter, Muscoda, Wis, Louis Potter, Canton, and Raymond, no address listed.

She was preceded in death by both husbands and one son.
