Lois Ann “San” Anderson, 93, of Clinton, died peacefully at home, Tuesday, July 7, 2020 after a brief illness.
Lois was born in Maquoketa, Iowa the daughter of Edward and Hazel (Morse) Kirchhoff. She graduated from MacMurray College. On July 22, 1949 she married William “Bill” Anderson; he died in 2010.They resided in Clinton since 1953.
Lois gave her time over the years to Clinton organizations, including the Visiting Nurse Association, Agatha Auxiliary, Sarah Harding Board and First Congregational Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Jill (Dennis) Roloff; son, David (Mary) Anderson; grandchildren, Jessica Roloff and Lauren and Kevin Anderson and nieces and nephews.
Services will be private at Springdale Cemetery. Snell-Zornig Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be expressed by visiting snellzornig.com.
The family will greet visitors from 4 to 7:00PM Friday, July 10, 2020 at First Congregational Church, 700 North Bluff Boulevard, Clinton. CDC social distancing rules, including masks will be observed.
The family thanks Mercy One/Mercy One Hospice for the compassionate care given to Lois.
Memorials may be made to First Congregational Church or to the Sarah Harding Home.
