Ardina Bell Brown, age 71, of Sabula, IA, passed away Sunday, June 7th, 2020 at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. A private family funeral service will be held at Law Jones Funeral Home in Savanna, IL.

Ardina was born on July 3rd, 1948, daughter of Joseph and Harriot (Harrison) Robertson. She spent her entire life on the island and attended Sabula High School. It was in Sabula where Ardina met the love of her life, Allan Brown. Allan was new to town, a transplant from Olean, NY, and the newest officer of the Sabula Police Force. One fateful day Allan pulled over a young woman for speeding. It so happened to be Ardina. He pulled over the right vehicle that day, because three weeks later the couple were married. They celebrated many happy years together in Sabula and cherished their time together.

Ardina is survived by her husband Allan Brown of Sabula, IA, one brother Joe (Mary) Robertson of Iowa City, IA, one sister Frances (James) Garrels of Suncity, AZ, three nieces Joanna Robertson of Iowa City, IA, Elizabeth (Robert Fulton) Jenkins of Coralville, IA, & Heather (Nathaniel) Loucks of Iowa City, IA, three grandnieces Michelle Jenkins-Robertson of Iowa City, IA, Ella Fulton of Coralville, IA, & Adella Loucks of Iowa City, IA, three grandnephews Scott (Eric Roth) Jenkins-Robertson of North Liberty, IA, Stefan Jenkins of Coralville, IA, & Kelton Loucks or Iowa City, IA, and one great-grandniece Sophia Jenkins of Iowa City, IA.
Ardina was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Harriot (Harrison) Robertson.
