Funeral services for Otto Hunwardsen, 76, of Maquoketa, who passed away Feb. 22, were held Thursday Feb. 28, at the Carson Funeral Home.

The Reverend Delbert Dawes officiated with burial in Wyoming Cemetery.

He was born December 2, 1903, son of Martin and Mary Brodersen Hunwardsen near Onslow. He graduated from Oxford Junction High School and attended Cedar Rapids Business College. He operated the Naeve Hybrid Seed Corn Co. at Bryant for many years and later was employed by Joe Rose Implement Co. of Maquoketa until retirement.

He is survived by one sister, Meta Miller, Bellevue, two brothers, Henry, Cedar Rapids and Marvin of Onslow, and by Helen Wyrick, Baldwin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and two brothers.
