Maquoketa, Iowa, Feb. 18--Henry Tamm, a pioneer of Jackson county, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Gerhardt Busch, 5 miles west of Maquoketa, Monday afternoon, aged 71 years. Mr. Tamm was a native of Germany, but moved here at an early age. He leaves four children to mourn his death. Mrs. Busch, near Buckhorn, Minnie, in Germany, Chris of Nashville, and Rudolph of Minneapolis. Rev. Vollmer of Lost Nation conducted the funeral services yesterday afternoon.
