Maquoketa, Ia., Feb. 3--Mrs. Mary F. Thom died Saturday at 4:45 a.m. at the home of her devoted daughter, Mrs. Lenora F. Boyd, of this city. Mrs. Thom was born in New York City. Her husband died very suddenly last summer in New York, while Mrs. Thom was here and had just undergone a serious operation. Mrs. Thom leaves two daughters, Mrs. Lenora V. Boyd and Mrs. Ada Wherry. The remains, accompanied by Mrs. Boyd and son Decker, Mr. Wherry and son, Leonard, and Mrs. Lou Anderson, were taken to Watertown, N.Y., for burial.
