Baldwin, Ia., Jan 10--Mrs. Mary Helble-Nell Raithel died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. A. Potter at Waterloo, Ia., of a complication of diseases. She was born in Buffalo, N.Y., on March 19th, 1852, and moved to Rock Island, Ill., with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Raithel, when a small child. She was united in marriage to Joseph Helble on June 3d, 1875, who preceded her in death twenty-three years. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. J. A. Potter of Waterloo, two sons, John and Will, the latter of Cedar Rapids, and four step daughters, one step son and seventeen grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. John Shaab of Rock Island, Ill., and two brothers, John and Henry Raithel, of Rock Island, Ill., besides numerous friends. The funeral was held Saturday, Jan. 5th, at the Baldwin M.E. church. Interment was made in the Pence cemetery.
