Maquoketa, Ia. March 16--The many friends of Dr. J. C. Mueller of Lamotte were shocked to learn of his unexpected death which occurred at his home last Thursday. The doctor had been in poor health for a time but seemed to have been considerably benefited from treatment recently taken at Minneapolis and expected to soon resume his practice. Dr. Mueller was about fifty years of age and has practiced medicine at Lamotte for fifteen years. He leaves his wife, an infant daughter, a father, four brothers and five sisters. The funeral took place Saturday morning.
