The Cascade Pioneer, Cascade, Iowa, Friday Morning, April 25, 1890

Anthony Rogan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Rogan, died at the family residence on Friday April 18th, 1890. He had been ill but a short time, evidently a relapse from the la grippe. He was a fine young man and his death is deeply mourned by his affectionate relatives and a large circle of friends. Mr. and Mrs. Rogan have the heartfelt sympathy of their friends and neighbors, for this is the second time of late that death invaded the family circle and has taken from them the beloved sons. The funeral took place at St. Patrick’s Church, Garry Owen, on Saturday afternoon, the Rev. J. Kelly officiating.
