Maquoketa, Ia. March 16 --Thomas E. Owens little 4 year-old boy, Lawrence Sydney, who has been a great sufferer but heroically patient through the several diseases which attacked his little body the past two months, passed away Saturday night. The funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at the home four miles east of town. Rev. Charles Fletcher officiated and the remains were laid to rest in Mt. Hope cemetery. A large number attended the funeral.
