Maquoketa, Aug. 29--The body of Mrs. E. C. Henstes, formerly a Maquoketa resident, was brought here for burial Monday and services were held at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Minnie Benson, on East Pleasant street at 10 o'clock yesterday. Mrs. Henstes passed away Sunday, August 26, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Edna Murray, at Lawler. She was 82 years of age and is remembered here as the wife of the late Captain Henstes, who passed away while a resident here. They were prominent pioneers. She is survived by three daughters, Mesdames Murray, Benson and Jennie Hepler of Des Moines.
