Maquoketa, Ia., July 2--Henry Harrison, Maquoketa's most highly esteemed pioneer furniture dealer, passed away Saturday, June 30, 1917, at 5 p.m. at his home, aged about 66 years. Deceased was born in Maquoketa, Oct. 8, 1851, and no one stood higher in this community than did Mr. Harrison. He was straight-forward, honorable in all his dealings and an expert cabinet-maker. He was a member of Hellon lodge No. 56, Masons and Peerless lodge No. 60, Knights of Pythias.

He leaves to mourn his loss besides his devoted wife, three sons and one daughter: John, Will, and Walter, and Mrs. Pearl Brodeson, of Maquoketa; also one sister, Mrs. Whitfield.

The funeral will be held tomorrow (Tuesday) afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, Rev. Boissier, of the Episcopal church, officiating, followed by interment in Mt. Hope cemetery.
