Allen Ronnfeldt, age 63, of Maquoketa, Iowa, previously of Miles, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at Crestridge Care Center, Maquoketa. A Funeral Mass will be held 11 am Friday, November 8, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Preston, Iowa. Burial will be in the Miles Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the Mass at the Church. Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Foundation.

Allen was born August 30, 1956, in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Arnold and Jeanette (Eggert) Ronnfeldt. He grew up in Miles, attending Miles Elementary and Middle Schools. Allen graduated from Maquoketa High School. Allen worked at DAC in Maquoketa, starting in 1977. Allen found a home in the caring hands of the Crestridge Care Center in Maquoketa for the last nine years.

He had a great smile and a kind soul. Allen loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his brothers and sister. He loved hearing stories and getting updates on the lives of his nieces, great-nieces and great-nephew. Allen loved to sing and listen to music. He was an avid Cubs fan.

Allen will be dearly missed by his sister Mary (Robert) Arendarczyk of Huntley, Illinois; two brothers, Gene Ronnfeldt of Maquoketa, Iowa and Gary Ronnfeldt of Miles, Iowa; three nieces, Michelle, Kristina, and Jessica, one great-niece, Allison; and three great-nephews, Nicholas, Jacob and Jayce. Allen is preceded in death by both parents.
