Maquoketa, Ia., June 4--Mark W. Currant, one of Maquoketa's respected pioneers, died yesterday afternoon at four o'clock at his home a short distance in the country. The deceased was born in Canada about eighty years ago and came here in his early days. The funeral will be held on Wednesday, June 6th, at 2 p.m., with services at Buckhorn church, followed by interment in the Buckhorn cemetery.
