Maquoketa, Ia., June 9--M. King, an old pioneer settler of Maquoketa, died at six o'clock yesterday morning. Deceased was 84 years of age last February. He was born in Marshall county, Pa., Feb. 21, 1833, and came to Iowa at an early date. He leaves to mourn his loss a wife and four children: Frank and Henry of Chicago, Charles of Minneapolis, and Mrs. E. M. Davis of Maquoketa. The funeral was held this afternoon at two o'clock.
