Maquoketa, Iowa, Jan. 19--D. H. Dandle, an old time and highly respected citizen of Andrew, dropped dead at the table on Sunday, Jan. 17, aged about 82 years. He leaves a large family of grown-up children. He is brother-in-law to our fellow townsman, C. U. Johnson. He had lived in Andrew over seventy years, was an active business man, carried on blacksmithing and wagon-making in company with his older son in our earlier day and also agricultural implements on a large scale. Mr. Dandle always led an exemplary life, and will be missed by his family and a large circle of friends.
