Eleanore C. Kruszynski, 102, of Maquoketa passed away at Crestridge Nursing Home on Friday August 16, 2019.

Her funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Albert, The Great Catholic Church at 800 S Linder Ave in Burbank, Ill. A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 18 at Lahey and Dawson Funeral Home in Maquoketa from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. with a rosary at 6:30 p.m. There will also be a visitation held at Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home, 4950 W 79th St. in Burbank Ill. on Tuesday, August 20 from 4:00 – 9:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Resurrection Cemetery.

Eleanore was born on December 14, 1916 in Chicago, Illinois to Adam and Margaret (Wielgush) Kuszynski. She married Stanley Kruszynski on June 26, 1937 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Illinois. She worked for Ford Motor Company in Chicago as well as a sales lady for Goldblatp’s.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Church of Maquoketa and had a very strong faith. Crocheting and gardening were her loves in life.

Those left to cherish her memories are her children; Bernadine (Robert) Specht of Monmouth, Stanley (Phyllis) Kruszynski of New Lennox, Illinois, Daniel (Maureen) Kruszynski, five grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Stanley, a daughter Eleanor P. Sypniewski, a grandson, Wayne and a brother, Ralph.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to her family in her honor.
