Death of Dennis Slattery

The sad intelligence was received here yesterday of the death, at his home in Bellevue, of Dennis Slattery, father of Dennis Slattery of this city, pressman on the TIMES. The deceased was one of the first settlors of Jackson County, and died at the ripe age of 80 years, lamented by his family and respected by all who knew him. He leaves five sons and three daughters. His son Dennis, of this city, left this morning for Bellevue to perform the last duty for his venerable father.
