Preston, Iowa, May 11--Caroline M. Andre was born in Catasaqua, Leigh co9unty, Penn., Oct. 24, 1854, and died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ida Marsh Sunday May 8, 1917, being 52 years, 8 months and 13 days of age.

July 25, 1888 she was united in marriage to Edward K. Myers of Rock City, Stevensen Co., Ill.

Two children were given to them to brighten their home, a daughter and a son.

In the year 1872 she came with her husband to Iowa, and for the past 12 years has been a resident of Preston.

During the year of 1887 she embraced the Christian faith and united with the Methodist Episcopal church at Delmar, Iowa, and later transferred her membership to the Congregational church of Preston, of which she remained a loyal member until death called her from the Church Militant to the Church Triumphant.

She leaves to mourn her departure a faithful and loving husband, a daughter, Mrs. Ida M. Marsh and son, Oliver J. of Riverside, California, two brothers and five sisters, 2 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

Among the out of town people who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lammers and son of Savanna, Ill., Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hill of Delmar, O. Myers of Freeport, Ill., and Charley Reed of Freeport, Ill.
