Maquoketa, Ia., April 23--Robert B. Taft departed this life at St. Francis hospital, Peoria, Ill., at 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, 1917, being about 59 years of age. The funeral was held from the home of Barney Ely Saturday forenoon, Rev. Bassier of the Episcopal church officiating. He leaves a number of relatives to mourn his departure.
