Maquoketa, Ia., Feb. 28--Mrs. E. K. Young of Ashton, O., accompanied by her son Joseph of Chicago, brought the remains of her sainted mother, Mrs. Alfred Fellows, to Maquoketa Monday evening, and Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 laid her to rest in the Mt. Hope cemetery. Mrs. Young's husband was one of the leading ministers of Upper Iowa Conference. Later he was pastor at Des Moines and then to several large cities in the east. Her son Albert was a school mate of Pastor J. J. Kidder and attended school at Cornell.

Mr. Alfred Fellows was an able and respected business man of Maquoketa for many years, was postmaster in an early day, also a leading druggist. He was brother to S. N. Fellows who was pastor for several years of the Methodist church at this place. Also brother to S. M. Fellows, the second president of Cornell college.
