page 5Maquoketa, Ia., March 3--Adeline Van Meter, of Andrew, passed away Thursday, March 1st, 1917, at her home, aged 61 years, 6 months and 11 days. She was born in Iowa September 20, 1863. Her parents, John and Mabel, Elrick, were born in Pennsylvania and came to Iowa in an early day.
The funeral will be held at the home Sunday at 2 o'clock. Rev. Bailey of Martelle, Iowa, is expected to officiate. Interment in Andrew cemetery.
