Bellevue, Iowa, Feb. 27--The death of William Dougherty occurred at his home on Third street Sunday morning after long months of suffering with Bright's disease. He was born in Bellevue 39 years ago Feb. 29th, where he grew to manhood. After his marriage to Miss Mary Hayes in 1908 he lived on a farm near Otter Creek. When his health became so bad he rented the farm and came to Bellevue. He leaves a wife, and four little boys, his aged father, three brothers and two sisters. The body was taken to Lamotte for burial, services being conducted in the Catholic church by Father Friedman.
