Maquoketa, Iowa, Dec. 20--Hubert Tubbs passed away at his home in Correctionville, Ia., Dec. 6, 1916, aged 62 years. Mr. Tubbs was born in Jackson county and was a resident of this vicinity until about five years ago when he removed to his late home in Correctionville. Besides his wife he leaves two sons, Gen of Colorado and Rev of near this city; also five grandchildren, Harvey, Cecil, Oma, Zell and Merton Winchip, all residing near Demar. The funeral was held at Correctionville December 8th with interment there.
