Obituary for Sherry Lynn Wood
Sherry Lynn Wood, age 66, of Thomson, Illinois, passed away Monday, May 13, 2019 at home. Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial gathering will be held from 12-4:00 p.m., Sunday, May 26, 2019 at The Lodge in Thomson.

Sherry was born October 20, 1952 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Marvin and Geraldine (Thompsen) Heneke. Sherry enjoyed skiing, painting houses, and traveling the country in her RV. She visited every state in the U.S. but Hawaii and would spend winters in Arizona. She loved dancing and listening to music—especially country and bluegrass.

Sherry is survived by her closest friends, Deb Olsen, Ray Karleskind, Bret Tallman, and David Cavanagh.
