Mrs. Charles Dahlman, of Preston, died at 8:45 o'clock this morning at Mercy hospital, following an operation performed a few days ago.

Deceased was born in Clinton August 7, 1891. She is survived by her husband, one sister and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sanke Carstensen, of near Andover.

The body was taken to Preston this afternoon and the funeral will be held Thursday from the German Lutheran church of Preston. Burial will take place in the Miles cemetery.

The remains of the late Mrs. Charles Dahlman will be interred in the Miles cemetery Thursday afternoon. Funeral services will be held in the Preston Lutheran church at 1 o'clock and the body will then be taken to the Miles cemetery for burial.

Preston, Ia. Nov. 10--Mrs. Charley Dahlman passed away at the hospital in Clinton Monday morning, Nov. 6, at 9 o'clock, and in her passing Preston mourns another noble woman.

The sterling characteristics cherished and cultivated in her family circle endeared her to a wide circle who were proud to call her friend.

Mrs. Dahlman had been confined to her bed but a few days, but with brave Christian fortitude she bore her sufferings, hoping that she might be spared to her loved ones, yet ready to answer the final summons when called.

The deceased was born in Clinton, August 7, 1891. She is survived by her husband, one sister and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sanke Carstensen, of near Andover.

Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the Lutheran church of Preston. Interment was made in the Miles cemetery.

Funeral services for the late Mrs. Charles Dahlman of Preston were held Thursday afternoon from the Lutheran church at Preston with services in charge of Rev. Muhl and burial was in the Miles cemetery.

The pallbearers were: Richard Scharff, Henry Lamp, Julius Petersen, Fred Stamp, Elmer Williams and Alfred Durant.
