Warren Hamilton Longwell, 10/21/42-04/26/19.

In the weeks before his death, Warren authored his own obituary. Our son, Lance (Laura) and I, respectful of Warren’s wishes, are sharing his words with you.

I, Warren Hamilton Longwell, 76, passed away in Colorado on April 26, 2019. My devoted wife of 44 years, Nancy Bullock, was at my bedside.

I have often said that, “I am the luckiest guy in the world.” I truly felt that I have had a good life, filled with many adventures, travels, hobbies and interests.

Being a dual resident of Arvada, Colorado, and Maquoketa, Iowa, I felt the latter to be most enjoyable due to visits with family and friends.

In ending, it is my request to be cremated, with no burial or memorial services of any kind on my behalf.
