Maquoketa, Ia., Oct. 6--William Engle died at the Iowa Sanitorium Wednesday evening at 7:30 of walking typhoid fever, after being there about one week, aged 27 years. Of late he had made his home with his brother-in-law Harry Atzen, near Delmar. He had been ailing for nearly a month, and meandered over the streets with a temperature of 103. Deceased was born in Germany. The funeral was held this afternoon at Buchner's chapel and burial took place at Codfish cemetery. He leaves three brothers and two sisters to mourn his loss.
