Bellevue, Ia. Sept. 19--On Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock the spirit of Mr. Henry Rolling took its departure from its tenement of clay. The deceased had been a long sufferer from stomach trouble. He was born at Spruce Creek, 65 years ago and had made his home there and in Bellevue ever since, being a jeweler by trade, and at which he worked as long as he was able. He married Miss Lena Beimers 36 years ago, who with one daughter, Mrs. Edith McNamara, of Dubuque, and three sons, Edward, Bernard and Andrew, all of Chicago, are left to mourn a loving father. All were at the bedside to comfort the mother when the end came. The funeral was held Friday morning at 9 o'clock from St. Joseph's church, conducted by Father Manterrach, with burial in the Catholic cemetery.
