Preston, Ia. Sept. 19--Fred C. Storm, in whose memory we are here mentioning was born Sept. 13, 1873, near Preston, Iowa, and died September 15, 1916, his age being 43 years and 2 days. The deceased spent his life at Preston, Iowa, until last March, when he with his family moved to Claremont, Minn. Mr. Storm was married to Miss Pauline Greve on Feb. 18, 1903, at Clinton, Iowa. To this union four children were born, Gilbert, Howard, Mildred and Erma. The deceased is survived by his wife and children, his mother and sister, Miss Hattie, of Preston, Iowa, and brother C. G. Storm, of Sherben, Minn. The funeral services were held at St. John's Lutheran church at Preston Sunday afternoon with interment in the Preston cemetery, Rev. Moehl officiating.

Mr. Storm was a man of sterling worth, having lived in our community all but a short time, he impressed his neighbors as a successful farmer, worthy citizen and a loving husband and father. His kind disposition and cheery smile were always with him.

Out-of-town relatives present were: Mr. and Mrs. George Storm of Maquoketa; Mr. and Mrs. Will Storm of Monticello, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Storm of Sherben, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Herman Myers of Clinton; Mr. and Mrs. John Obrion and daughters, Misses Margaret and Alice, of Clinton; Mr. and Mrs. H. Grieve and children, Clara and John of Clinton; Mr. and Mrs. L. Hansen of Cedar Rapids; Mrs. George Trager and daughter, Miss Pauline, of Owesso, Mich.
