Preston, Iowa, May 19--One of Andrew's highly respected citizens crossed the silent river, never more to return. But the impress of his life and the strong convictions of his moral worth are never lost, but ever left among those who knew him.

Otis Sheets has gone to his reward leaving a large circle of friends and acquaintances to mourn his death.

Mr. Sheets has been in ill health for only three weeks, but never in that time did he lose interest in private or public life. He was a member of the Methodist church of Andrew.

Otis Sheets, son of John and Sarah Sheets, was born September 16, 1865, near Spragueville. He was married to Lizzie Kitts, Feb. 25, 1891. To this happy union, seven children were born, three dying in infancy.

He is survived by his wife, four children, William, Wilma, John and Chester, all at home. The funeral was held Sunday morning at 10 o'clock at the house, Rev. James Anderson officiating. Interment was made in the Andrew cemetery.
