Maquoketa, Iowa, July 26--A short funeral service was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Walker yesterday afternoon by Rev. Bartholomew for little Ava Walker, and then the remains were taken to Andrew where Rev. C. D. James of the Presbyterian church assisted by Mr. Bartholomew conducted services.

Ava was born Oct. 7 in this county to Mr. and Mrs. John Walker, and leaves a little brother, David.

Her tragic death has aroused the deepest sympathy.
