Mrs. Dorris Ohlsen's spirit took flight to that land Feb. 8, at 8 o'clock at the home of her daughter Mrs. Henry Ehrensberger Sr.

Mrs. Ohlsen was born April 19th, 1842 in Copendorf Island of Femarhn, Germany. On July 27th, 1862 she was married to Christian Ohlsen to which happy union eight children were born.

In 1862 Mr. and Mrs. Ohlsen and children came to America, settling 1 mile east of Preston.

She leaves to mourn her death Mrs. Henry Ehrensberger, Sr. near Preston and Dora Hoerner, of Clinton, besides several grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ehrensberger, Rev. Moehl officiating. Interment was made in the Preston cemetery by the side of her husband, who passed away in 1898.
