Obituary for Beverly Ann Wall
Beverly Ann Wall, age 83, of Sabula, Iowa died on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at the Alverno Nursing Home, Clinton, Iowa. A visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Calvary Lutheran Church, Sabula. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, January 11, 2019 at Calvary Lutheran Church, Sabula. Burial will take place in Miles City Cemetery, Miles.

Beverly was born on August 28, 1935, the daughter of Gilbert and Ann (Madill) Bartlett in Princeton, Illinois. She attended Miles High School, graduating with the Class of 1952. She later attended Registered Nurse Training at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She married James Richard Wall on September 20, 1959 in the Presbyterian Church, Miles.

Beverly was a Registered Nurse for more than thirty years, retiring in the mid 90’s. She started her nursing career at Shriners Hospital for Children in Chicago. She also worked for St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Dr. James Cahill in Preston, Iowa, and the Alverno Nursing Home in Clinton. Beverly was a longtime member of the Calvary Lutheran Church. She was also a member of the Christian Woman’s Club in Clinton, Iowa. Beverly was an avid reader and she and her husband, Dick, loved traveling, especially out west to Estes Park, Colorado. Most of all, Beverly cherished spending time with her family and friends.

Beverly will be dearly missed by her husband, Dick of Sabula; two sons, Jon (Kristi) Wall of Miles, Iowa and David Wall of Dubuque, Iowa; two grandsons, Nathan (Amanda) Wall of Dubuque, Iowa and Nicholas Wall of Miles. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one son, Brian Wall.
